7-day tour of Croatia

1. Day
Arival in Zagreb according to the flight schedule (usually around noon) After arrival accomodation to the hotel. Lunch. Afernoon visit of Zagreb, croatian capital (driving tour + walking tour – 3/4 hrs). City of Central European face and Mediterranean hearth,  known for its palaces, parks, churches and colorfull markets. Dinner. Overnight.

2.  Day
Drive south toward Plitvice. Plitvice is the most famous Croatian national park listed on world heritage UNESCO list. Known for 16 cristalclear karst lakes and numerous waterfalls. Visit of the park with an unique walk on trails and bridges between the waterfalls (total 5 hrs). Break  for lunch during the visit. Continue toward the coast and Zadar,  touristic and historical town situated in north Dalmatia region on the Adriatic coast. Dinner. Overnight.

3. Day
Morning visit of Zadar (walking tour 2 hrs). Zadar for for centuries part of the Republic of Venice and is known for its well preserved historical center, especially for its churches. Continue toward south along the coast toward Split. Split is the capital of the croatian southern region of Dalmatia. The city is famous for roman emperor Diokletian palace (under world heritage UNESCO list) wich makes the today hearth of the city and where still people amazingly live inside. Afternoon visit of the city (walking tour 2 hrs) and free time for shooping before dinner. Arival to the hotel and overnight.

4. Day
Morning time ferry boat trip to the island of Korčula (2-3hrs) from wich you can enjoy the beauty of the Croatian islands. After arrival drive along the island and enjoy the mediterranean lanscape with grapes and olives. Stop to visit one local olive oil factory with tasting and introduce to the olive oil culture. Lunch. Afternoon arival in the islands capital - town of Korčula  famous as a birth place of Marco Polo. Visit of the historical center (on UNESCO world heritage list) including house where Marco polo was born (walkng tour 2 hrs). Dinner Overnight.

5. Day
Departure with the short ferry boat ride to the mainland. Drive along the second largest croatian peninsula – Pelješac wich is famous for wine production, astonishing sea views. Continue south to the town of Ston famous for its city wall, salt production and to be a center of shell production in Croatia. Visit to the town including the oldest salt production in the Mediterranean. Lunch based on local shells dishes. Continue south along one of the most beautifull parts of adriatic coast toward Dubrovnik. Afernoon arrival to Dubrovnik, walk inside the old city wall. Overnight.

6. Day
Dubrovnik is named  the pearl of the Adriatic, is not only the most famous croatian tourist destination but is also a world class destination. The city is known for its extremly well preserved, more than 500 years old city center and walls and beautifull meditereanean surrondings.  Mornig visit of the city main monuments and walk along the walls (4 hrs). Afteroon boat ride to the islad of  Lokrum famous for its crystalclear sea and rich botanical garden. Time for shooping. Free evening  to enjoy Dubrovnik by night.  Overnight.

7. Day
Transfer to the Dubrovnik airport. Any eventual programm can be organised according to the flight schedule.
